Description

Built in 1952, the 125 kV Montcherand-Rolle line consists of 127 lattice pylons, a tubular steel pylon and a gantry. The route covers a total distance of 33.6 km. The section tendered is between pylon 40 and 120. Following a heliported survey of the line using laser remote sensing (LIDAR), it was found that the "lower ground-conductor" distances are no longer respected in 48 ranges. The latter no longer comply with the minimum requirements of the Ordinance on power lines (OLEI of the year of construction). These exceedances vary from 0.15 to 1.45 m. The project consists of raising by 4 meters 51 pylons on the existing 80 of the 125 kV line (section under investigation). This work will allow a correction of the ground distances of the lower conductors in order to comply with the ordinance on power lines. The 79 pylons of the section will be completely replaced by new pylons. This renovation will make it possible to renew all the line’s equipment (insulator chains, conductors, protectors) and foundations. All the replaced pylons will have a silhouette and an overflight grip identical to the original one. In order to optimize their integration into the landscape they will be painted grey according to the recommendations of the FOEN. All pylons will remain at their original location. The foundations of the raised pylons will be reinforced. Tower foundations that do not require elevation will be inspected, cleaned and rehabilitated.
