Poland-Krakow: Cycle path construction work

The contract concerns:
(1) preparation of design documentation with the approval of the competent authorities to carry out works on the basis of the applicable legislation;
(2) construction works involving the construction of a bicycle road with engineering works and signposting of the route.
The cycle road is carried out on green areas, along public roads, in the Voivodship Road No 969 and on pedestrian-bike and cycle paths. The construction of a bicycle road must be carried out in accordance with the functional-use programme and the programme concept entitled “Construction of an integrated cycle route network in Małopolskie Voivodeship – Task 5 – VeloDunajec (VD) — 1, part 3 (from Zabrzeż to m. Stary Sącz)’.
Construction of the cycle route includes, inter alia, preparatory and demolition works (including green cutting, demolition of existing pavement structures, demolition of handrails), earthworks, roadside construction works, roadside construction works, sidewalls, bike road scabs, renovation of existing roads, trail trail reconstruction, reconstruction of the pavement into a pedestrian-cycling track, engineering works involving renovation, reconstruction, extension of existing structures and construction of new structures in the form of culverts and bridge structures (bridges); construction of resistance structures, dehydration, removal of collisions with the weapon network, installation of traffic safety devices, permanent traffic organisation and cycle route marking.
The execution of the works covered by this contract is divided into two stages:
(a) Phase I of the works – comprising the execution of the scope of the contract excluding the construction of engineering structures 22A and 37, i.e. construction of a cycle route and construction of engineering structures 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32;
(b) Phase II of the works – including the construction of engineering structures 22A, 37.
