Description

The object of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd's procurement was the roll-to roll assembly line for flexible foils for VTT Printed and flexible electronics Pilot Factory located in Oulu, Finland. The new Assembly line will be part of VTT Printed and flexible electronics Pilot Factory providing concept creation and pilot manufacturing services for various domestic and international companies. Line is dedicated for pilot manufacturing of printed hybrid systems on flexible substrates with product architectures up to several meters (or even tens of meters). Pilot manufacturing will be low volume-high mix in nature and therefore, the flexibility is desired both in capability of handling various components, layout design rules and minimising set-up times.
