The Łódź Event Centre intends to commission an event called "Light.Move.Festival." in the years 2025-2028. Light.Move.Festival. The Kinetic Art of Light Festival is an international cyclical event of high artistic, visual and educational value organized in the urban space of Łódź. Monumental spatial installations, spectacular 2D/3D mappings or multi-colored illuminations attract visitors every year for an unusual evening walk in a unique urban setting, with the sounds of selected and selected music for individual events. The Kinetic Art of Light Festival organized in Łódź by the Lux Pro Monumentis Foundation is one of the largest outdoor visual events in Poland, which attracts hundreds of thousands of viewers from Poland and abroad every year. Each year, the Festival takes place under a pre-selected slogan that inspires artists to create their works and often makes viewers reflect. The idea to create a "Festival of Kinetic Art of Light" Light.Move.Festival. in Łódź was born at the turn of 2009 and 2010. It was conceived by Beata Konieczniak and Norbert Wasserfurth – Grzybowski. Delighted by the post-industrial but also eclectic architecture of Łódź, they decided to introduce an event to the calendar of cultural events, during which the beauty and unprecedented character of Łódź's buildings is emphasized. They have chosen the medium of light and the possibilities it brings as a tool for this purpose. For the implementation of the festival of light, the formula of creating an NGO was chosen. In February 2011, the ‘Lux Pro Monumentis’ Foundation was established, which in Latin means ‘light for monuments’, understood as an opportunity, as well as highlighting their beauty.
