East Jutland is a growing area, which is why we want to build a new full-time station in Lisbjerg. The main aim is to ensure better coverage for citizens in northern Aarhus, to maintain resilience in the city of Aarhus and, at the same time, to be able to quickly assist other fire stations in East Jutland.
The Aarhus Nord station shall lead the way to a good working environment through well-designed fitting-out solutions that support good flow in the work processes, focusing on the separation of clean and dirty areas. In addition, well-managed areas of work and accommodation, a good indoor climate and attractive opportunities for accommodation and activity, inside and outside, at the 24-hour stay in the station are crucial.
