Description

In 2025, the district of Lippe commissioned a comprehensive feasibility and basic study on the future of the district's own vocational colleges. Three competence centres will be formed from four vocational colleges. The first implementation step is the bundling of the technical job profiles at the Lemgo site (Berufliches Innovationscentrum Technik - BIC Technik). Together with the existing building part A of the Crafts Education Centre and the building of the former Hanse-Berufskolleg, the technical departments of the participating vocational colleges will be merged with the profile "Technology and Production" in a newly created workshop. As part of the tender, a general planner for the new construction of the factory hall as well as the previous demolition of the car hall (component B) and the window assembly hall (component C) will be found.
