Description

The aim of the procurement is to select a service provider for fattening poultry research, who cooperates with MTT, with a view to designing and implementing joint measures, in particular in the areas of research and development of fattening poultry production. There will be close cooperation between the subscriber and the selected service provider, subject to strict confidentiality and the ability to carry out, in cooperation with MTT, demanding research and development orders in addition to the production of fattening poultry.
Cooperation shall cover the following areas:
— animal nutrition cooperation in research and expertise,
— organisation of animal testing activities related to nutrition and welfare of poultry for fattening,
— cooperation on the use and rental of research facilities and resources and animal care services.
Forms of cooperation include:
— rent to the farmer of breeding facilities approved for animal testing,
— hire of animals needed for the experimental activity to the subscriber,
— research and expert cooperation between operators.
The contract period runs from the date of signature of the contract until the contractual obligations relating to the tests ordered have been fulfilled, until 31 December 2016. The purchase is accompanied by an option for the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2018 if the subscriber so wishes. A cooperation agreement will be signed with the service provider for cooperation and research activities during the contract period.
