The public contract covers engineering services under FIDIC (white book), construction inspection services under the current Construction Act (PGI) and the occupational safety and health coordinator under Regulation 83/05 in the project ‘Hiddraulic improvement of the water system in the central Dolenjska area’. The construction works in the project ‘Hiddraulic improvement of the water system in the central Dolenjska area’ will be carried out on the basis of two separate contracts, namely:
— construction of waterworks for the project ‘Hiddraulic improvement of the water system in the central Dolenjska area’, to be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the FIDIC in the yellow book
— construction of pipelines and water supplies for the project ‘Hiddraulic improvement of the water system in the central Dolenjska area’, to be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Red Book FIDIC.
The subject matter of the call is comprehensive and is not subdivided into lots.
The procurement also covers the services of the OSH coordinator. The engineer will perform the duties of occupational safety and health coordinator at the construction site with qualified persons to the extent and in accordance with the rules in force on occupational safety and health at temporary and mobile construction sites. The work of the Safety and Health Coordinator at work will be carried out by the Engineer during the preparatory phase of the project and during the project implementation phase. In particular, the tasks related to coordination for safety and health at work shall be:
— the appointment of a coordinator for safety and health at work,
— harmonising and ensuring the fundamental principles of health and safety at work,
— ensuring cooperation and mutual information for contractors working on construction sites with a view to preventing occupational injuries,
— verifying the safe implementation of work procedures and coordinating planned activities,
— verifying that only persons employed on the site and persons authorised to enter the site enter the site,
—to keep all necessary and appropriate documentation,
— the performance, on behalf of the contracting authority, of all the duties of coordinator for safety and health at work, which derive from the regulations in force and which are not specifically mentioned in the tender specifications and in the contract.
The deadline for the provision of services under this public contract is 835 from the signature of the contract with the contractor for the project ‘Hiddralic improvement of the water supply system in the central Dolenjska area’, which will be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the FIDIC in the yellow book and approximately 835 days from the signature of the contract with the selected contractor for the construction of pipelines and water supplies for the project ‘Hiddraulic improvement of the water system in the central Dolenjska area’, which will be implemented in accordance with the provisions of the FIDIC red book. In the event of a change in the deadline for completion of works contractors, the time limit for the provision of services shall be until the issue of the certificate of performance to each individual contractor.
