B-Brussels: Contract for the hosting of a combined Galileo station at Papeete, Tahiti (French Polynesia)
The ground segment of the Galileo system is organised in control centres, located in Europe; and remote stations, located worldwide.
The following types of stations already exist and some will be deployed:
— tracking, telemetry and control (TTC) stations consisting of a full-motion parabolic antenna,
— uplink stations (ULSs) composed of several full-motion parabolic antennas,
— Galileo sensor stations (GSSs) used to monitor the navigation signals.
The current procurement is for the procurement of hosting services for 1 combined site in Papeete that is a station combining ULS and GSS functionalities.
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
1. definition and implementation of any site infrastructure work required to upgrade the current infrastructure;
2. provision of the consumables (for example, diesel fuel, recharges of air conditioning, etc.) associated with the operation and maintenance of the site infrastructure;
3. support of a dedicated site design review and site acceptance review of the hosting facility and be managerially and contractually responsible for all testing coordination;
4. maintenance for the GSS and ULS site infrastructure;
5. provision of qualified manpower for the support of the assembly integration and verification teams.
