The Institution of Organic and Supramolecular Chemistry ‘C.D. Nenițescu’ launches the open tender procedure for the purchase of: The broadband inverse detection (BBI) probe has high sensitivity for the 1H core and allows the recording of MRI spectra in diluted aqueous solutions with effective suppression of the water signal. These characteristics are required for the MRI metabolomics studies under the NRRP 2022/C9/MCID/18 project. In our research we study samples of biological fluids (urine, blood) in which metabolites are in low concentration and the dominant signal in the spectra is that of water. The water signal in biological samples should be suppressed as electively as possible in order not to affect the signals of other metabolites. In order to allow collaborations with other groups, the probe must be mobile, easily transportable and easily mountable on existing MRI magnets in Romania.
