Description

The subject of the procurement procedure is the provision, deployment, operation and further development of a cloud-based telemedicine platform for the PEDNET-LC project. The platform should serve as a secure, standardized and clinically proven overall solution for the telemedical networking of the institutions involved in PEDNET-LC and in particular enable the structured collection, sharing and forwarding of patient-related data as well as the communication between service providers and with patients. PEDNET-LC is a newly established, interdisciplinary pediatric network for the care and research of children and adolescents with Long COVID-like diseases. In particular, post-infectious diseases according to SARS-CoV-2, influenza virus, Epstein-Barr virus and other pathogens are covered. In the future, those affected by complaints after vaccinations as well as children and adolescents with ME/CFS will also be looked after independently of the respective trigger via the structures to be built up. The project is designed as a nationwide merger of clinics and research institutes. The aim is to network specialized, interdisciplinary care centers, to support comprehensive regional care and to continuously improve diagnostics and treatment approaches for affected children and adolescents. The data generated in the field of care should be collected, evaluated and used for the further development of medical care. The findings will be made available to the public. The focus of the relevant work package is the telemedical networking of the participating institutions. This should enable fast, data protection and professional law-compliant communication between the service providers involved in patient care, as well as the exchange of patient-related data and communication with patients.
