Description

DB InfraGO AG, RB Mitte, intends to renew the three tunnels Ebertsberg, Brandenstein, Ruppertsberg and Vst Jossa as part of the container measure ‘Route 3825’. This call for tenders concerns the planned expansion of the three tunnels in full renewal as well as the conversion of the Vst Jossa. The tunnels Ebertsberg (l = 230 m), Brandenstein (l = 151 m), and Ruppertsberg (l = 321 m) are expanded from about 50 m ² to about 80 m ² in cross-section. At Vst Jossa, the central platform is dismantled. The tramway stone will be adapted to RIL-conform and two new outer platforms will be built. Furthermore, the Vst is equipped with a passenger underpass (PU). The renewal takes place as part of an 18-month total closure of the line.
