Description

The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research (HI) in Bergen has an ongoing research programme with marking mackerel and herring with RFID marking tags for monitoring the stocks ́ migration and for use in stock estimations as a basis for quota advice. All relevant data flow, handling, reporting and estimation are controlled via a web-based software system called Smart Sea Fish software, which has been developed by Smart Sea System AS in cooperation with the contracting authority. HI needs management and operation of the platform, expedition support, follow-up of third party use, minor development of the system and options for transfer of competence to the contracting authority.
