Description

The Province of North Holland manages approximately 650 km of roads, 250 km of waterways, dozens of objects and many cycle paths. The Province manages and maintains this area within Area Contracts and through maintenance, renovation and investment projects. There is currently a gap where ‘small’ projects are at risk of falling between shore and ship. Small in quotation marks, because it has to meet certain conditions, but the projects are certainly not always small. In order to accommodate these projects, the Province issues a framework agreement. With this form of contract, the province aims for a fast turnaround time for the Small Works. This offers the possibility to quickly agree and execute the relatively simple projects. For this project, the province wishes to contract a number of (SME) parties with which a long-term partnership is entered into. Sustainability is one of the BPKV criteria in the registration guideline (weighting 40%). €52,000,000
