Description

This undertaking is a service contract, a single-contractor framework agreement, the purpose of which is to provide services and supplies for the maintenance in perfect working order of the generating sets installed on Walloon hydraulic structures (lock barriers), and in particular: • supplies and services necessary for the preventive maintenance of the installations; • supplies and services necessary for the corrective maintenance of the installations; • analysis of engine oils and/or diesel fuel • provision of alternative groups. The time limit for performance of the framework agreement is the maximum period during which the contracting authority may place an order. The period of performance shall begin on the day following the date on which the contract was concluded or on the date of the order, as the case may be. The deadline is initially 12 calendar months. It is automatically extended by an additional 12 calendar months in the absence of notice of termination notified by registered post by the contracting authority no later than 3 months before the initial deadline on the basis of Article 57 of the LOI. It is thus renewable three times in the absence of notice of termination notified by registered post by the contracting authority at the latest three months before each deadline and, in any event, automatically ends, without notice, on the expiry of its third extension. The contracting authority shall not be required to pay any compensation to the successful tenderer if it exercises its right to terminate the contract under the abovementioned conditions. The contracting authority reserves the right not to have the services relating to certain equipment performed without the service provider being entitled to claim any compensation.
