Description

PLEASE NOTE this concerns a PREPARATION Program The organization of the regional circuits in the Alblasserwaard and Vijfheeren countries (A5H) is part of the Area Program A5H. The area programme includes water system measures and quay reinforcements. For more information on the programme, see https://www.waterschaprivierenland.nl/area programme-alblasserwaard-fiveheerenlanden-a5h Project These quay reinforcements for the regional flood defences are being addressed in phases. First, the quays of the excavated bosom waterways in the Alblasserwaard and the bosom quays of the Zouweboezem in the Vijfheerenlanden are tackled (tranche 1, see Figure 2). Subsequently, in tranche 2, the approach of predominantly built-up quays along the old peat streams Alblas and Giessen is started. For more information, see https://www.waterschaprivierenland.nl/kadeversterkingen Traject Kade Kortland is located in the municipality of Alblasserdam and has a total length of approximately 1,000 meters. A road runs across the quay that leads north to the monumental Kortlandse Molen. There is a marina on the northern part. There are a number of agricultural plots (pasture), a house with garden, an ice rink and an allotment complex on the quay. The southernmost part of the quay is adjacent to the Alblasserbos. This forest is owned by Staatsbosbeheer (SBB) and is part of the Natuur Netwerk Nederland (NNN). Also the quay itself is entirely within the NNN. South of the mill, at the intersection of the Tiendweg and the Kade Kortland, there is a pumping station, with which water can be drained to the Nederwaard. South of the mill and at the level of the ice club there are inlets to let water in from the bosom to the polder. At the height of the ice club is an inlet to fill the ice rink. Design Based on a preferred variant and the available space, a Final Design (DO) has been developed that complies with the IPO standard (IPO III). Assignment The assignment involves the elaboration of the program of requirements and the final design into an execution design and the execution of the execution work in order to realize the quay reinforcement quay Kortland.
