Description

The subject of this public procurement is the selection of an operator for the operation and management of a regional landfill for non-hazardous waste for the municipalities of Lovech, Letnitsa and Ugarchin. The operator/contractor will carry out the activities under the Integrated Permit issued to the Municipality of Lovech to ensure conditions for treatment (landfilling) of up to 25 550 tonnes of waste per year by the municipalities of Lovech, Letnitsa and Ugarchin until the construction and commissioning of facilities for pre-treatment of waste and/or composting installation, but not more than 2 years. The landfill operator accepts waste from the waste collection and disposal systems of the municipalities of Lovech, Letnitsa and Ugarchin as a matter of priority. The remaining household and industrial waste from natural and legal persons is accepted at a non-exhausted daily capacity of the landfill of 70 tonnes/24 hours, and the operator should ensure that only waste that is allowed to be accepted for landfilling of the landfill will be accepted and that the waste undergoes a control and registration procedure before the reception takes place.
