Framework agreement on support for RES implementation
The Regional Energy Strategy (RES) is a national task that stems from the Climate Agreement. For this purpose, the Netherlands is divided into thirty ‘RES regions’ in which municipalities, provinces, water boards, network operators, industry, civil society organisations and residents work together on a sustainable energy supply. In North Holland, the local authorities (44 municipalities, 3 water boards and the province) work together with various parties on the implementation of the RES. North Holland has 2 RES regions: North Holland North and North Holland South. Various RES partners have indicated that the need for support in the implementation of the RES is changing. Work is shifting from policy making to implementation and there seems to be an increasing need for capacity support within the (municipal) organisation. This concerns the need for specific expertise, project management, environmental management or process guidance. Initial contract duration 1 year and 10 months, possible extension 3 times 1 year
