Description

In accordance with the provisions of the approved project and its technical approval, the subject of the contract is the execution of the necessary works defined in the ‘PROJECT FOR REPAIR OF THE ORIGIN OF THE CHANNEL OF THE BAJO GUADALQUIVIR, T.M. DE PALMA DEL RÍO (CÓRDOBA), LORA DEL RÍO Y CARMONA (SEVILLA)’, both to improve its hydraulic performance and to facilitate maintenance and operation work. The project includes, in general terms, the following actions: • Cleaning and removal of sediments from inside the channel. • Treatment of joints. • Regularization of the flooring and repair of cracks and chippings. • Lining and waterproofing of the carcass. • Demolition and reconstruction of the most damaged sections of the canal. • Execution of intermediate battlements. • Rehabilitation of existing bottom drains. • Conditioning of the splitter. • Cleaning of drainage works transverse to the canal. • Execution of a geocell platform on the channel floor. • Recovery of the existing service path. • Upgrading of the overpasses. • Rehabilitation of the existing channel section according to the degree of deterioration (5 levels). • Clearance and adaptation of service benches. • Cleaning of siphons. • Removal of existing retentions. Replacement with floodgates. • Installation of motorized gates for sectioning and control of water foil. • Bottom drains for emptying the 3 sectors that are created with the floodgates. • Channel access ramps for maintenance and cleaning. • Replacement of existing bottom drain mechanisms. • Recrecido de Mota de containment in section next to Arroyo Madrefuentes. • Extension to 3 floodgates and construction of spillways in the Partidor El Cuenco, as well as modification of the mechanisms of the existing Partidor floodgates (6 chains type and buttresses by motorized spindles).
