Description

The new building “Jugendanstalt Hamburg” is to be built on the site of the Billwerder JVA in Hamburg-Billwerder. Part of the area required for the project is covered by unbuilt-built land on today’s site of the Billwerder JVA and, in another part, by the recovery of land adjacent to the south-eastern part of the land used for agriculture.
As a result of preliminary measures, the existing wall was separated and expanded to include the site of the future youth institute.
On the site within the detention wall, in the future, it is planned that: 10 buildings and one CHP and on the site outside the hanging wall 2 buildings. Multiple use (building-by-building) shall be taken into account accordingly.
