Digital energy business trip as part of the Energy Export Initiative of the BMWE 2026, 2. tranche
The goal of the Energy Export Initiative (EIE) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) is to support German companies (UN) that offer climate-friendly energy solutions when entering the market abroad and to position German products and services internationally. An integral part of the funding offer is the Energy Business Travel Programme. The aim of the (digital) energy business trips is to prepare the market entry for German SMEs by developing sound market knowledge as well as the targeted contact with potential business partners in the respective target markets and to further expand existing foreign activities of German SMEs. The Digital Energy Business Trip (dGR) funding module consists of a travel letter, a target market analysis (ZMA), an online briefing and an online specialist conference. The central element of the measure is individual discussions between the German UN and potential business partners in the target country.
