Description

The municipality of almelo is making an application on the basis of a two-phase contract with two plots for the realization of maintenance on sewerage, paving elements and asphalt paving. The purpose of the tender (as a whole) is to contract two contractors for the realization of both the development phase and the realization phase for the maintenance of small sewerage, element and asphalt pavement. Tendering takes place with two lots where the aim is to have the two contractors, one for each lot, go through one development phase together with the municipality and thus start the work together at the same time, with the same starting points. Given the type of contract, the start-up costs involved and the desired cooperation, the contract is put on the market for a longer period of time. This proportionally reduces the start-up costs that are necessary. It also gives the parties more time to come to optimizations that pay off for the period.
