Description

Waterschap Scheldestroom intends to carry out a market consultation with the aim of gaining insight into the available possibilities for the sustainability and repair of structural hardwood structures within the surface water system. These structures, such as sheet piling, scaffolding, bollards, lock doors and check valves, are essential for water management in our region. With this consultation, the Water Systems department, responsible for the management of these works of art, wants to explore which technical and sustainable solutions the market offers to extend the life of these structures and to prevent complete replacement as much as possible. The results of this consultation may be applied more widely within Water Board Scheldestrooms, also overarching within other departments. We invite market participants to share their knowledge, experience and innovative ideas with us, so that we can work together on future-proof solutions for the management of our water infrastructure.
