Description

Am GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung wird derzeit in internationaler Zusammenarbeit das neue Forschungszentrum FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) errichtet. Das supraleitende Synchrotron SIS100 ist der Hauptbeschleuniger der FAIR-Anlage. Für das zugehörige Magnet-Schutzsystem werden 440 Anschlusskästen (sog. Quench Conditioning Boxes, QCBs) benötigt.
