Creation of grid connections at 400 managed PWC facilities reference number of the notice
Note: Not all information for this procedure were successfully computed. Please consult linked documents for more details.
With the adoption of the Act on the provision of comprehensive fast charging infrastructure for pure battery electric vehicles (fast charging law – SchnellLG) in mid-2021, the legal base charge for equipping managed rest facilities and the tendering of the German network was put in place. The aim of the SchnellLG is to provide a comprehensive, attractive and reliable fast charging infrastructure for users, including on federal motorways. On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Digital and Transport (BMDV), the Federal Highway GmbH is to equip around 400 operated rest facilities across Germany with fast charging infrastructure. For the implementation of the RapidLG, it is necessary to connect the relevant sites to the local energy grid and to provide the necessary power to operate the identified recharging points (0.2 MW per recharging point).
