Description

This is a market survey to identify markets and potential suppliers. The Lapland Welfare Region does not request offers with this announcement. One F-class oil spill response boat is planned for the rescue department of the Lapland wellbeing services county. The ship will be stationed in Kemi. The vessel must be suitable for transporting oil spill response equipment, collecting oil independently, towing boom equipment and lowering booms and anchors, as well as for controlled lifting. In addition, an F-class oil spill response boat must be able to conduct an independent oil spill reconnaissance. The subject of the procurement requires planning and adaptation of the finished solutions, so the procurement has been prepared to be carried out as a negotiated procedure. The indicative timeline for the procurement procedure is the second half of 2025. The procurement procedure will be organised on a conditional basis so that the vessel can only be ordered once the 2026 operating plan and the borrowing mandate have been approved.
