The Dahlmannschule is a traditional grammar school located in the centre of the district town of Bad Segeberg and one of the oldest grammar schools in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. The Dahlmann School, which has been constantly developing and growing since the 1920s, required expansion buildings on the school property, which were essentially added at the end of the 1950s and the end of the 1970s and spread over the entire school property. Since the 2019/20 school year, the pupils at the Dahlmannschule are again led to the Abitur in 9 years due to the nationwide provision.
