Description

Background Umeå University uses the government framework agreement for hotels, longstays, conferences and meetings to the extent possible. In Västerbotten County, however, coverage is very limited, especially in smaller towns and sparsely populated areas where the university operates. This makes it difficult to meet the actual needs of the business. This procurement therefore aims to complement the government framework agreement and ensure access to relevant services throughout Västerbotten County. Scope and delimitation This procurement concerns hotel, conference and longstay services within Västerbotten County and is divided into three parts: Sub-area 1: Hotel services Sub-Action 2: Meeting and conference services Sub-Action 3: Longstay (accommodation for longer stays) For the sub-areas hotel and conference, there are already government framework agreements covering Umeå and Skellefteå urban areas. These geographical areas are therefore excluded from this tender. The procurement thus only covers facilities outside Umeå and Skellefteå agglomerations, as defined by Statistics Sweden’s agglomeration boundaries. For hotel services, only facilities with at least two stars according to Hotelstars Union are covered by the framework agreement. For longstay, there are no existing government framework agreements with coverage within the county, which is why the entire county of Västerbotten is covered by this part of the procurement – including Umeå and Skellefteå urban areas. A framework agreement will be signed with all suppliers who submit a qualified tender and meet all the requirements of the procurement. No ranking is applied. Allocation of bookings (allocation key) Orders under the framework contract will be made on the basis of an overall assessment of the following factors: Proximity to the subject of the visit (e.g. conference or meeting room) Proximity to public transport and/or transport facilities Price Access at the desired date of visit Environmental considerations Accessibility aspects Specific needs at conference or longstay Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
