Supply, installation and commissioning of a two-dimensional gas chromatography-flight time mass spectrometry system (abbreviation: GC×GC-TOF/MS system) incl. user training & instruction 2025-0577 Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
This notice is a pre-notification for market prospection, for an intended public tender (EU-wide). Interested bidders have the opportunity to express their interest. Please send your expression of interest until 09.04.2025 at 12:00 o'clock exclusively to the following e-mail address: vergabe.leibniz-lsb@tum.de. There is no legal right to participate in this call for tenders. On the basis of these specifications, the Leibniz Institute for Food Systems Biology at the Technical University of Munich intends to place an order for the supply, assembly, installation, instruction and complete commissioning of a two-dimensional gas chromatography flight-time mass spectrometry system (GC×GC-TOF/MS system) with an EI ion source and a liquid nitrogen GCxGC thermomodulator. Furthermore, a secondary GC furnace for a separate heating process of the 2. GC column (2. dimension) is present. The gas chromatograph in the first dimension must be able to be injected using an autosampler. The scope of services must also include the supply and installation of the gas supply lines to the gas chromatographs (nitrogen, helium) and the thermomudulator. Furthermore, the contractor needs a computer with monitor and software for measuring operation and data analysis. In addition to the generally required functionality, the GC×GC-TOF/MS system must meet all the specifications listed in point 5.2 et seq. The fulfilment of the minimum requirements is a mandatory requirement for the evaluation of the offer. Failure to comply will result in exclusion from the procedure. It is expected that the system can be kept up-to-date through regular software updates until the end of its useful life. A sustainable, future-proof hardware platform is otherwise required. Delivery takes place freely at the following premises of Leibniz-LSB@TUM: Room E.28, Lise-Meitner-Str. 34, 85354 Freising. This is a laboratory room on the ground floor of the building. All components must be fully integrated into the overall system. For each component of the GC×GC-TOF/MS system, the specifications shall meet the following minimum requirements: 1. Capillary gas chromatograph: - Cold-on-column injector - Constant-flow flow control - Helium as carrier gas - Secondary GC furnace A secondary GC furnace must be installed in the GC furnace in order for the 2. Dimension with one to 1. Furnace deviating temperature can be heated. 2. Thermomodulator - Cryofocusing at – 150 °C by means of thermomodulator The cryofocusing of volatile substances after 1. GC Column to 2. To guarantee GC column we need a thermomodulator that can reach temperatures of -150 °C. 3. Mass spectrometers: - Flight Time Mass Spectrometer - Mass Range 10-1500 amu - Required Ionization Techniques: - electronic ionization (EI) 4. Autosampler for liquid injection (1 – 10 μl syringe) and SPME - Peltier-tempered sample tray holder (10 °C – 40 °C) - Sample tray for 2 ml vials - On-column syringes - SPME equipment: - SPME holder (manual tool change) - Heating station for SPME-fiber 5. Supply lines for the gases - installation to the two gas chromatographs (nitrogen and helium) and - to the cooling trap (distance gas cocks to device about 1.5 m) 6. Control PC with software - Control PC including suitable software for measuring operation and data analysis, at least 23 inch TFT monitor with mouse and keyboard Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
