DES green solvent extraction equipment
On 13 May 2026, the contracting entity published an open tender procedure for which no suitable tenders were received. After the tendering process, a supplier capable of a materially non-conforming alternative has been found in France in the original invitation to tender at a price corresponding to our cost estimate. The equipment consists of a used reactor unit, a solvent regeneration unit and an electric heating unit. The latter are new devices. The experimental environment for green solvents consists of a set of equipment in which values are extracted from the solids with the help of so-called green solvents. The package now to be procured will cover the technology needed for extraction. The applicable law is Section 40(2)(1) of the Procurement Act (1397/2016): No requests to participate or tenders or no suitable requests to participate or tenders have been received in an open or restricted procedure; an additional condition is that the original terms of the invitation to tender are not substantially altered.
