United Kingdom-Leeds: Construction materials
As part of the Catterick Flood Storage Reservoir there is the need to construct 2 earth embankments to form the reservoir. To enable the Environment Agency to construct these embankments a supplier of cohesive fill material is required. The material supplied will be Class 2C1 as set out in the Invitation to Tender document and the appended Earthworks Specification dated April 2015.
The tender is to provide the supply and delivery of a minimum of 38 000 tonnes of material to the site. This quantity may increase if the material already available on site is outside of the required specification.
The Contractor is required to have capacity to provide additional material should this be required. this volume cannot be confirmed at this time but is not expected to exceed an additional 38 tonnes of material.
