Description

The supply of sample collection/transport devices, materials, reagents, test kits and associated instrumentation etc for determination of the presence of infectious agents in patient derived samples. The system must be able to detect a minimum of Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae; additional available infectious targets will be considered. The instrumentation MUST be fully automated and detect the presence of Microbial Nucleic acid by a Nucleic Acid Amplification methodology.
The contract will be incorporated within an existing managed laboratory service contract.
