Description

The U5 light rail line in the west of Frankfurt is to be extended by 2 stations above ground. The future approximately 1.4 kilometre long light rail line will be integrated into the traffic area of the ‘Am Römerhof’ road. For this purpose, a new street space with a width of 26 m to 39 m has to be planned. The on-site routes (channel, TK, etc.) are largely to be rearranged, protected and supplemented. A two-track electrified light rail line is planned. Following the terminus, a multi-track parking/turning system for the light rail system will be planned. In addition, implementation options for a P+R car park and for an additional bus turner must be examined. For the parking garage and the design of the above-ground light rail stations, several variants have to be developed as part of the preliminary planning. With this tender, the public project company SBEV GmbH commissions object planning for transport systems, structural design, civil engineering structures, open-air systems as well as object planning for buildings and their equipment. In addition to HOAI basic services, special services such as overall BIM coordination are commissioned. An approved preliminary planning for the transport facilities is available.
