Belgium-Turnhout: Repair and maintenance services of electrical building installations

Subject of these works: framework agreement for electricity works and electrical installations.
Remarks: Under a framework agreement, the Kempen School Group wishes to appoint a supplier/firm for electricity works.
As the contracting authority, Scholengroep Kempen awards a public contract for:
— maintenance work on electrical installations,
— the depannagements,
— works for the renewal, extension, construction and repair of electrical installations in the buildings,
— works for the maintenance and adaptation of electrical installations in buildings, schools, internates and centres owned by Community education and managed by school groups.
The works and services are provided to the schools and institutions of the participating school groups and nurseries of VZW Dol-Fijn.
The participating school groups are: School group 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. All of these are located within the province of Antwerp.
An overview of these schools by school group can be found in Annex E to the specifications.
For the purposes of the implementing rules, the award rules and the technical provisions, the public contract becomes 1.
The school groups shall decide on the number and nature of the work to be carried out.
As contracting authority, Scholengroep Kempen expressly reserves the right to have electricity works carried out by another contractor during the period of validity of this contract (see also I.3).
The duration of the contract is 4 (four) years. The contract may be terminated annually by both the contracting authority and the contractor (see II.4 of the Terms and Conditions). The contract may be terminated annually by both parties by registered letter, subject to a period of 6 months’ notice. In this case, the notification must be made before 1 March of the year in question. Provided that notice is given in good time by registered letter, the party terminated shall not be entitled to any compensation for damages or notice.
The estimated turnover is EUR 2 500 000 (including VAT).
