The project for the renovation and extension of the Athena area is broken down as follows: 1/ Phase 1 (firm section) consisting of the energy renovation of the entire building, the creation of an internal lift and a partial layout of the garden level of the auditorium. This phase 1 will be carried out as a continuation of the project management competition for a delivery scheduled for the end of 2026; 2/ Phase 2 (optional section) consisting of changing the equipment in its uses, in its functional organization and its surface needs. This phase includes the extension and development of the media library, the lobby / conviviality area, a workshop room. The project therefore includes a new distribution of premises as well as an extension for a total gain of 700 m2 of useful area. The resumption of phase 2 design studies is expected by January 2029 with delivery scheduled for January 2032.
