Description

The contracting authority for the tendered construction project is the city of Sinzig. The overall measure includes the reconstruction of the ‘Rhein-Ahr-Stadion’ sports facility on the Green Way in Sinzig as a result of the flood disaster in July 2021. The flood events at that time caused considerable damage to the sports facilities, the technical infrastructure facilities and the adjacent construction facilities. In recent years, the sports areas have been partially temporarily repaired and continued to be used to maintain sports operations. The measure now planned serves the complete and permanent restoration of the sports facility, taking into account the changed framework conditions of flood protection, water development and future requirements for use.
