Description

Electricity meters for smart metering with EDGE/GPRS modem (smart metering systems communicating via GSM network), hereinafter referred to as “IMS electricity meters”. IMS meters will communicate with the superior system using EDGE/GPRS modem in the form of an interchangeable module or internal built-in modem within the meaning of DLMS/COSEM standards. The contract will also cover the supply of configuration software to the IMS meter in question, enabling it to be fully configured as well as to read data via a GSM network or an optical head. For more details, please refer to the ‘Qualification System for IMS electricity meters’ section ‘Technical specification and test procedure’.
The subject of the qualification is divided into 3 separate levels:
