Description

Due to increasing student numbers and increased demand for comprehensive school places in the city of Essen, the city of Essen is planning the new foundation and construction of a 6-track comprehensive school as well as a triple sports hall, two single sports halls and ancillary facilities on Erbslöhstraße in the Altessen-Süd district. The building consists of four structures (A-D) arranged around a central fifth structure (E). The external structures A-D separate the central structure into the corners of the building, so that all structures are structurally connected to each other. The buildings or components A to E serve as school buildings, in component A the triple sports hall plus 2 single-field halls with grandstand and changing area is additionally provided.
