Description

The Hoppegarten racecourse has been a cultural monument since 2006 and is used for equestrian sports and various guest events. The main grandstand, which was built in 1922 and extended in 1934, will be refurbished in accordance with historic monuments, with a focus on accessibility and technical modernisation. During the construction work, the racetrack remains in operation, but the main grandstand is closed. The refurbishment includes the optimization of accesses, the renovation of the exterior wall and the installation of new bar and storage rooms as well as technical rooms in the Neue Waage. The construction site will be fully secured and the work will be coordinated in such a way that day-to-day operations will not be affected.
