Description

The Federal Ministry of Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMBFSFJ) is looking for a contractor to provide scientific support for the conceptual development of family policy projects (approximately 70 percent of the contract) and measures for reconciling care and employment (approximately 30 percent of the contract) at a high technical level, to accompany the dialogue with socio-political actors practically and strategically and to conduct demoscopic surveys on selected questions and to prepare the results for application. Findings and results of the work are to be prepared for internal purposes as well as for publication. Groups of bidders are expressly invited to apply in order to meet the multifaceted requirements in a work-sharing manner, but in close cooperation. The specific services to be provided by the requested contractor are as follows: a) Scientific support b) Demoscopic accompanying research c) Process and project management d) Knowledge-based public relations e) Optional services - In the event that the contractor needs expertise for certain issues that cannot be adequately dealt with by the BMBFSFJ or the service provider, external expertise can be commissioned as an optional service (in compliance with budgetary and competitive regulations). The contracting authority and the contractor shall agree on a corresponding need by 30 September 29 at the latest, subject to the availability of sufficient budgetary resources. - In the event that own empirical international comparative analyses and studies, the work bases of which have been developed in the context of the provision of services are required by the contractor and the value of which exceeds EUR 23,800.00 gross, they may be commissioned as an optional service. The contracting authority and the contractor shall agree on a corresponding need by 30 September 29 at the latest, subject to the availability of sufficient budgetary resources. - In the event that dialogue processes with socio-political actors are developed into central projects within the scope of the Competence Office and the implementation of individual events with specialist audiences is required on a larger scale (larger than expert workshops), the costs for the implementation (rooms, technology, catering, moderation costs, etc.) can be commissioned as optional services. The contracting authority and the contractor shall agree on a corresponding need by 30 September 29 at the latest, subject to the availability of sufficient budgetary resources. For further information on the exact design of the contract service, please refer to Annex 2 _Description of services.
