Предмета на обществената поръчка включва извънгаранционна поддръжка на техническо оборудване на PCR апарати и секвенатори за ДНК анализ за срок от 36 (тридесет и шест) месеца, включващо: първоначален преглед, профилактични дейности, технически проверки, както и отстраняване на всички възникнали технически повреди за периода на извънгаранционното поддържане на аналитичната апаратура със софтуер за управление и компютърно оборудване.​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​Обществената поръчка е планирана за изпълнение на дейност 4 „Поддръжка на техническо оборудване за криминалистични изследвания“ по проект № BG65ISPR001-3.001-0004 „Разширяване на възможностите на криминалистичните изследвания в лабораториите на НИК-МВР“, финансиран от Програмата на Република България по фонд „Вътрешна сигурност“2021-2027
