SELECTION OF THE RISK CAPITAL FUND MANAGER FOR INVESTING IN PREVIOUS UKRAINE START-UPS TO DEVELOP THEIR BUSINESS ACTIVITIES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
The subject of the contract is the selection of three financial intermediaries to act as managers of venture capital funds (Venture Capital Funds). Depending on the specific investment structure chosen by the financial intermediary, the financial intermediary, as manager of the Venture Capital Fund, will manage funds from a holding fund created and managed by the sponsor (Holding Fund) and possibly from other investors, either within the Venture Capital Fund itself or its compartment, their individual portfolio, or within otherwise accounting segregated assets held in the name of the sponsor (Fund), created or created for the purpose of (a) co-investment with other investment structures managed by the financial intermediary within the Venture Capital Fund; and (b) providing investments to final recipients in accordance with the terms of the Investment Strategy. Through the above-described management of financial instruments, financial intermediaries will carry out the management of entrusted funds under the Fund in order to invest in innovative start-ups, especially from countries negatively affected by the Russian invasion, which will develop their business activities in the Czech Republic, in accordance with the terms of the agreed investment strategy (Investment Strategy) and in accordance with the operational agreement (Operational Agreement) signed by them. The objective of the described financial instrument is to support public and private investments through public equity and quasi-equity financial instruments, which are based on the principle of return. The amount of the allocation of funds and the conditions for its change will be the same for all selected suppliers. The procuring entity shall conclude a separate Operational Agreement with each of the selected suppliers. The contracting authority may conclude an Operational Agreement with only one or two selected suppliers if the tender has been submitted by only one or only two participants in the procurement procedure or if the tender of only one or only two participants in the procurement procedure meets all the conditions of the PPA and the contracting authority defined in the procurement documents. A detailed description of the subject of performance of the public contract is given in the tender documents and their annexes.
