Description

As part of its development cooperation, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) supports partner countries in the systemic establishment and expansion of their quality infrastructure. In this context, it is particularly important to promote the development of technical competences and quality-related services in food testing and product certification in the textile sector in order to improve product quality, consumer protection and the competitiveness of companies on national and international markets. The regional focus is currently on North and East Africa as well as South, Southeast and Central Asia. For the capacity development of institutions of quality infrastructure in the partner countries, a framework contract is to be concluded within the framework of development cooperation in the performance period from 01.01.2025 to 31.12.2026.
