Description

This was an open procedure
The existing road surface of the D1 motorway in a given section is at the end of its life and even after local repairs shows a significant number of faults. There are map cracks, longitudinal, transverse and irregular cracks, surface corrosion and decay, surface smoothing, potholes and partly longitudinal tracks in the right lane. Therefore, it was decided to modernize it completely.
Simultaneously with the modernization of the road, the category will be adjusted according to the currently valid ČSN 73 6101, i.e. from the original category D26.5 to category D28 (category D27.5 according to ČSN 73 6101 with an extended central dividing strip of 0.5m to 4.0m). The width of reinforcement of each lane in the basic transverse arrangement in this case is 11.5m in the route and 12.5m between the barriers on the bridges. This arrangement will make it possible to carry traffic halfway along the motorway in a four-lane mode (2 lanes for each direction of travel) e.g. during repairs.
