Description

The subject of the public contract is the construction of a private 5G network (closed only for the needs of the St. Anne's University Hospital (hereinafter referred to as FNUSA) for wireless guaranteed data communication of the hospital. The operation of the 5G network will be ensured by the contracting authority itself in cooperation with the 5G network frequency licensor. The construction of a local infrastructure for a private 5G network in FNUSA aims to improve and complete the network coverage of the hospital complex – Annex 11 ZD – Building diagrams – the current state of the Pekařská complex. The implementation of this network will provide the hospital with a modern, efficient and secure communication solution for its own work and operational purposes. Thanks to its high transfer speed and low latency, the private 5G network will be ideal for supporting demanding mobile applications, such as fast data processing from medical devices or accessing internal applications from mobile devices. A key advantage of this solution is also independence from public mobile networks, as the hospital will have its own frequency band, which ensures stable and reliable operation. Data security and patient privacy are an absolute priority, so the existing backbone infrastructure of the hospital will be used for the core network. As a result, all data will remain inside the hospital infrastructure and will not be exposed to external threats. The result will be a robust, safe and autonomous network, which will bring major benefits for the efficiency of hospital operations and the quality of patient care. This public contract (Public Procurement) is financed from the NPO project: Name of the project: Application of the 5G ecosystem – St Anne’s University Hospital in Brno Project registration number: CZ.31.6.0/0.0/0.0/23_087/0008935 Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
