The Ministry of Defence's Materials and Purchasing Agency needs to purchase Maritime technical expert assistance within the maritime industry, within the following categories: Category 1. Ship design and construction category 2. Machine design and construction category 3. Cooling technology and ventilation. The applicant must indicate the category(ies) in which he/she is applying to participate. The applicant must submit one (1) ESPD per category in which he/she is applying to participate. If in one category he/she is applying to participate as part of a consortium (a group of economic operators) and in the other category he/she is not applying as part of a consortium, an ESPD must be completed for each category. The submitted ESPD should reflect who the real applicant is. Category 1: Ship design and construction includes all related tasks such as ship design, force calculation, stability calculations, conversion of vessels, preparation of specifications and documentation, supervision, etc. Category 2: Machinery design and construction includes all related tasks such as engine testing, fault investigations, preparation of proposals for design changes, preparation of test reports, redesign, fuel tanks, preparation of specifications and documentation, etc. Category 3: Refrigeration technology and ventilation includes all related tasks such as dimensioning of refrigeration and ventilation systems, testing and fault testing.
