Description

In the HH-Karolinenviertel, as part of the refurbishment and repurposing of the Flora-Neumann-Str. 3 building, the car park of the neighbouring Glashüttenstraße 79 will be overbuilt with an office house. This is the former primary school, St Pauli Nord, built in 1889, a recognised monument under §7a HamburgischeDSchG (ID number 13216). Building waterproofing works and static upgrades of the basement floor have already been/are being carried out in advance. As part of the construction of a new building on the neighbouring plot with a common rescue route, works are planned as follows:
— as a result of the cladding of the new building GLS 79, the outer wall will need to be submerged to the car park,
