Description

An ABC (Amersfoortse Brede School Combinatie) is created in the Vathorst district in the municipality of Amersfoort.
At the heart of the De Bron SPC school is the development of the child, the cluster is going for an innovative way of playing, raising and learning. Care and education work closely together in this regard. This means that spaces have been created, which can be used for many more functions. Users use the same spaces together or in succession. This has also been the challenge for the architect: the design of intensive multi-purpose buildings, which allows users to be well off in both peak and permanent situations. Buildings where their current ideals as well as future developments can be addressed.
The structure of both buildings is clear, so that the different owners and users can easily agree on their use. In addition to a marker of water identification, the cluster is welcoming and has a child-friendly image.
The construction project comprises approximately 8 500 m² of gross floor area (hereinafter: BVO), terrain facilities, a walkway and a Warmte Koude Opslag (WKO).
