Description

Capacity WORKS (CW) is GIZ's management model for sustainable development. It serves the management and management of assignments (projects) with the aim of contributing effectively to the capacity development of partner organisations in order to sustainably improve the performance of people, organisations, networks and social systems in our partner countries. The management model offers a structured approach to managing projects. It opens up the scope for designing the necessary cooperation tasks. It "translates" the corporate policy model for sustainable development into a comprehensive and workable model. The five success factors strategy, cooperation, governance structure, processes as well as learning and innovation promote and open up new scope for action for change processes through guiding questions - if used appropriately. Through systemic capacity development of individuals, organizations and societies, the common goals for sustainable development are achieved. In cooperation with GIZ's specialist and methodological department, the Academy for International Cooperation is currently offering two courses in the area of Capacity WORKS: - Cooperation management with Capacity WORKS (to impart the competence of action) - Cooperation management with Capacity WORKS for consulting industry (to impart the competence of overview). The target group of the course Cooperation Management with Capacity WORKS is all GIZ employees, especially employees with control tasks. Participants will be introduced to the use of the model to control cooperation systems. As the name suggests, the course Cooperation Management with Capacity WORKS for Consulting Management is aimed at external consultants and consulting companies. This course provides an overview of the GIZ Capacity WORKS management model and its success factors. Text automatically translated in your browsing language Automatically translated
