The state of Lower Saxony has decided on a "special fund for the refurbishment of investments through energy-efficient renovation and infrastructure renovation of state assets as well as for the accommodation of refugees in state-owned buildings (refurbishment timetable 2035 - SFP 2025). Part of this is the energetic and infrastructural upgrading of state-owned buildings and properties. The current state government aims for climate neutrality of the state administration by 2035.
